The AEC is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) through April 2018 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accrediting agency for English language programs and institutions in the U.S.

The Center is also proud to be a member of University and College Intensive English Programs (UCIEP), a consortium of university and college intensive English programs. All programs in this consortium have met high standards to ensure that students receive the most advanced methods of intensive English instruction from trained, professional instructors.
