What Is VPN? VPN (Virtual Private Network) client is a program that allows secure access to resources on the KU network (such as the Exchange email servers or to a departmental file server) from computers that are not connected to the KU network, but are connected to the Internet. License Information

Only KU faculty and staff are eligible to use VPN email client on either KU owned and operated computers and laptops or personal computers for home use.
Note: Prior approval from your departmental technical support staff is needed before you can use VPN. Download VPN

To download and install the VPN client for Windows or Macintosh, go to the VPN install page.
