to students studying abroad in the summer)
The Kress Foundation Department of Art History
at the University of Kansas invites applications for the Edmund Eglinski
Prize for study abroad. This $350 award, which has been established
in honor of retired KU Professor of Italian Renaissance
Art, Edmund Eglinski, will be paid against tuition for an undergraduate
studying art history in Europe. Candidates
must have demonstrated an interest and excellence in the study of
the history of art. Preference will be given to students majoring
in art history.
How to Apply:
In order to be considered for this prize, applicants must write a letter to the Edmund Eglinski Prize Committee describing the academic program in which they will enroll and their reasons for wanting to study in this program. They must also provide a current copy of their ARTS form, their current mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, and KU ID number.
