Cultural Programs
International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) coordinates a variety of programs and works closely with some community-based programs. Detailed information and applications for any of the below programs can be obtained in ISSS office, Room 2 Strong Hall. A variety of programs and workshops, such as off-campus employment,job search techniques, immigration basics, and tax assistance, are offered throughout the year to provide information about topics that are relevant to international students.

ISSS Orientation Assistance
ISSS is looking for volunteers interested in helping during our New International Student Orientation from Sunday, January 6, 2008 through Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Some volunteer duties include: greeting students as they arrive, checking nametags and documentation, directing students where to go, assisting Orientation Leaders in ice breaker games, group discussions, conversing and making students feel at home, monitoring doors during various sessions, setting up and cleaning up at our final party, and translating.
