Cultural Programs


International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) coordinates a variety of programs and works closely with some community-based programs. Detailed information and applications for any of the below programs can be obtained in ISSS office, Room 2 Strong Hall. A variety of programs and workshops, such as off-campus employment,job search techniques, immigration basics, and tax assistance, are offered throughout the year to provide information about topics that are relevant to international students.

    Thanksgiving Homestay
    The purpose of this program is to provide international students with an opportunity to experience the U.S. holiday Thanksgiving in an American home. International students will have the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving day with an American family or possibly stay with an American family for few nights during the holiday.
