As part of a pilot program at KU we have enhanced a single section
of these math classes by increasing the TIME of instruction.
Students will attend 5 classes a week (instead of 3) for Math
Math 115 and an extra 50 minutes per week for Math 121 with the
additional
time for intensive and supplemental instruction. Students
in these classes will study with their instructor at a slower pace with
more personalized attention.
These classes cover the same challenging material as the traditional
classes, but provide a more supportive academic environment. Since students
should spend greater than 10 hours per week studying math anyway, why not
spend some of that time studying with your instructor and friends, for no
extra cost!
