The advising period for Fall/Summer 2008 Main Enrollment is from March 24 through April 21, 2008.
If you have East Asian Languages and Cultures listed in student records as one of your majors or areas of interest, please read this message in its entirety.
Although freshmen are generally advised by the Freshman/Sophomore Advising Center in 206 Strong Hall, freshmen who have declared East Asian Languages and Cultures as their major are strongly encouraged to select an advisor among EALC faculty. Freshmen and sophomores will have an advising hold placed on their enrollment until they have been seen by an advisor. Juniors must declare a major before they are allowed to enroll. A student can check for these and other outstanding holds on Enroll & Pay. The EALC Department has set aside the dates of March 24th through April 21st for advising students interested in majoring in East Asian Languages and Cultures. EALC majors should come to the EALC Department office, 2118 Wescoe Hall, and pick up additional instructions for their advising appointments. These will be in an envelope on the office door. If you already have an advisor in the department, select a time on the advising sheet on your advisors’s door. If you do not yet have an advisor in this department, select an advisor according to your primary area of interest or chosen language in this department.
